Abstract: The implementation of correlation layer in signal acquisition take up an important proportion of hardware resource in GNSS receivers. In order to reduce the quantization loss and used hardware resource, a novel correlation method with high efficiency is proposed. The resource of adder tree in acquisition module of proposed is half of traditional method, and the quantization loss is reduced by 0.3 dB, which could be used in GNSS receivers with low cost and power consumption demand.
