Abstract: Compared with the normal RTK, Multibase Station CORS and network RTK, the single base station CORS has particular superiority. This paper briefly introduces the structure, principle, advantages and disadvantages of the single base station CORS. Combining with municipal road engineering examples, it mainly gives the processes, results, precision of 1∶500 digital topographic maps surveying and road setting out, The practical application of Single Base Station CORSRTK can obviously improve work efficiency and satisfy accuracy demand.
