Abstract:
Aiming at the limited positioning coverage of the traditional single positioning algorithm for Enhanced Long-Range Navigation (eLoran) systems, this paper proposes a fusion positioning algorithm combining pseudorange positioning and hyperbolic positioning. The algorithm establishes a transformation model for observation quantities to realize flexible bidirectional switching between pseudorange positioning calculation and hyperbolic positioning calculation under reasonable constraint conditions. Comparative verification is carried out by constructing simulation scenarios. Theoretical analysis and simulation experiments demonstrate that the proposed fusion positioning algorithm can greatly expand the effective positioning coverage of the system. It significantly enhances the navigation availability of traditional positioning methods in remote and marginal areas, and provides technical support for the reliable application of eLoran systems over a wider range and in more complex environments.
