Abstract
The orbit prediction plays a significant role in the scientific mission of remote sensing satellite. To obtain the longperiod and highprecision orbit prediction, the orbit forecast is performed by a dynamic fitting method. To analyze the effect of orbital height and different fitting arc lengths on the accuracy of orbit forecast, the data of the GRACEA satellite,HYA satellite, Jason2 satellite are used as examples. From the results, it is concluded that the prediction orbit of 3D RMS of 4 h and 8 h arc length of GRACEA satellites, the results are better than 3 m and 10 m respectively; for HY2A and Jason2 the 4 h arc length prediction results are less than 2 dm and 1 dm separately, 24 h arc length prediction results are better than 2.5 m and 2 m respectively.
