Review of GPS navigation warfare: progress and revelation

Under the background of information age, satellite navigation system has become an indispensable part of modern war. The paper analyzes the concept of navigation warfare that is first proposed by the United States and discusses the technical progress, technical capacity, content, offensive and defensive measures of GPS navigation warfare technology. The GPS navigation warfare theory also has certain reference and enlightenment significance for the construction and development of BDS independently developed by China. We should study the reinforcement methods of BDS space, ground and user segments, establish a mechanism for the collaborative use and combination of multiple navigation modes, improve the reliability, continuity, flexibility, security, tenacity and coverage of the PNT system, establish the overall national development view on space, and develop the national concept with Chinese characteristics, coordinate and conduct various forces to provide strategic fulcrum for the development of the standing space era.
