Analysis of multiple satellite selection algorithms in GNSS integrated navigation

  • The number of visible satellites of global navigation satellite system increases significantly, and the redundancy of observation data reduces the positioning efficiency of mobile terminals, while efficient satellite selection algorithms can improve the real-time performance of dynamic navigation. In this paper, according to the principle of satellite selection algorithms, eight satellites selection algorithms are classified into two categories: satellite selection algorithms based on the minimum of geometric accuracy factor and satellite selection algorithms based on spatial geometric distribution. Based on the principles of satellite selection algorithms, the paper introduces various algorithms, analyzes their advantages and disadvantages, and verifies the performance of each algorithm in GNSS four-system integrated navigation through examples.
