The Effect of Constellation Expansion on System

摘要: 本文分析“北斗”区域卫星导航系统目前所采用的三种卫星混合组网的星座现状,通过设计扩展不同类型、不同数量的卫星,利用STK仿真软件,对所选重点区域和扩展区域的重要服务性能,如几何精度因子(GDOP)和可见卫星数量进行仿真,进而综合得出不同导航星座异构扩展对系统服务性能的影响情况。分析结果表明, IGSO卫星对增强系统对区域服务性能的提高具备更好的条件。根据“一带一路”非洲沿线国家重点城市的分布特点,进一步对星座异构扩展数量和在轨位置进行优化和改进,为有限条件下星座扩展实现服务性能最大化改善提供参考。Abstract: The current situation of the three kinds of satellite hybrid networks of No.2 Beidou regional satellite navigation system is discussed in this paper. Through the expansion design of the style and number of different satellites,the important service performance of the selected important area and enlarged area such as Geometric Dilution Of Precision(GDOP) and N Asset Coverage is simulated using the STK software. The acquired analysis results show IGSO satellite has better conditions for enhancing system to improve regional service performance. According to the distribution characteristics of the key city along “The Belt and Road” in African countries, further optimization and improvement about the number and location in orbit of constellation expansion is executed and provide reference for constellation expansion to realize the maximum of service performance under limited conditions.
